Grime has evolved exponentially in ten years, but its rawness remains a focal point. I think the ever rising popularity and intrigue of the genre is grounded in this fact, and can be perfectly demonstrated by the hype in the above scenes.

Also, despite knowing prepubescent teens that have changed less than Dizzee has in the last decade, there’s no doubting that the man’s still got it! Watch him shut things down above.

This is definitely one to watch for followers of grime and emerging UK music.

This was released around 2002 but never saw the light of day on 12” or LP. A great look at two of the grime originators. The beat is simple and the flows are witty, you also might recognize a few recycled bars from Diz.
